If you find yourself in the middle of a dental emergency, here are some tips to help get you through until you can reach us:
> In case of severe tooth ache, brush the area thoroughly and make sure that no food is lodged between the teeth. Avoid extremely hot or cold foods. Take an over the counter painkiller to tide you over until you get to us.
> If there is swelling, use a cold compress against the outside of your mouth or cheek. Rinse with warm saline water. DO NOT apply heat to the area.
> In case your crown gets loose and comes off, Do Not throw them away - they can be recemented at the dentist. Wash them with water and store them carefully until you reach us. DO NOT use superglue or Feviquick to fit them back yourself!
